Blog Spotlights

The School Games blog has a Spotlight each term where they pick out the best blog and you can potentially win a prize! The topic for this terms blog is Inclusion and you can write about any way you and your school promote inclusion and help to inspire others to also be inclusive.  Any child between 9 – 19 can write a blog and it can help any aspiring writer or journalist to get their creativity flowing!

The closing date for this Blog Spotlight is the 13th February so you’ve still got time to enter a blog. To enter a blog simply login as your school at www.yourschoolgames.com and start writing.

Future Blogs

There are plenty of other opportunities to enter throughout the year so why not enter the ones below too:

Term 4 (23 Feb – 27 March): Blog Spotlight – Competition in the Curriculum (Curriculum Competition*)

Term 5 (13 April – 22 May): Blog Spotlight – Leadership

Term 6 (2 June – 10 July): Blog Spotlight – Reporting on your Sainsubury’s School Game Day (Curriculum Competition*)

Curriculum Competition entries are blog posts that link across the whole curriculum.  This means you can link creative writing, science or maths topics.  This means you can submit a match analysis of a game one of your classes has played or write a creative piece around the topic of the blog.  It can be a great way to get others who don’t always physically engage with sport to find their own unique way of engaging positively with sport.

If you have any questions about writing blog posts or how you school can enter then feel free to contact us at info@links-ssp.com and we’ll help you get started and blogging.
