Mossbrook School – South Yorkshire Winners for Broader Sporting Experience
Further to Mossbrook being selected as a Centre of Excellence for Physical Education and Sport, they were nominated for the Yorkshire Primary PE and Sport Premium Awards. There were a huge number of entries that from across the county for the awards, with an expert panel including representatives from South Yorkshire Local Authorities, the Association of Physical Education (afPE), the Youth Sport Trust (YST), and South Yorkshire Sport.
Mossbrook are the South Yorkshire winners in the Broader Sporting Experience category. They were informed that their application “fulfilled criteria for creativity, sustainability and creating a measurable impact on pupils”. The school have been requested to collect their award along with other county winners at the Yorkshire Awards, and gain the opportunity to become Regional winners.
