Why do you coach/what drives you to coach?
I have always loved seeing children achieve something and being in a fun environment and with coaching that is exactly what I do. I find it so rewarding seeing young children achieve new skills and even make a small progressions that makes them believe in themselves.
Do you have any coaching role models?
My dad was always one to push me to believe in myself and not give up, he was my football coach and now coaches a boys football so I would say hes a really caring coach which I would describe myself as.
What are your coaching aspirations/goals?
To give every children a opportunity to learn something new- To have inspired a child enough to carry on participating or leading
If someone was interested in coaching, what would advice would you give them?
Please get involved it is the most rewarding work you will do and I am so lucky that mostly my job doesn’t even feel like work! Volunteer and get experience to find yourself as a coach first then evolve.
