Thirty two outstanding Year 10 Sports leaders from across the Links SSP Secondary schools took part in this years Leadership Academy training held at Bradfield school. Some will go on to be Adistar and Gold Young Ambassadors and get the opportunity to take part in high profile sporting events..
One of the Leadership Academy’s main roles is to help raise the profile of PE and Sport within their school and their cluster of primary schools. The Leaders will do this is through the promotion of the Olympic and Paralympic values which highlight how sport and Physical activity can have an effect on whole school improvement. They will be popping up in and around the schools in the cluster promoting these values in a variety of ways including class or whole school assemblies, young leader workshops, Intra-school competitions and other competitions linked to The School Games structure.
We are very proud to have such inspirational young leaders within LINKS who represent their schools and themselves as positive role models for all young people.
